Senior/Volunteer Records
The deadline for Senior and Volunteer Records to be turned in to the County 4-H office is June 21, 2010. If you need forms, they are available at the county office.

District Horse Misc. Contests
District Horse Public Speaking, Hippology and Team Demonstration Contest will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2010 in Verona.

State Horse Misc. Contests

The State Horse Hippology Contest will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in Jackson.
Horse Show Information


The 4-H Horse Shows will be here before you know it. Here are some final reminders:
• Bring coggins
• Bring original registration or grade papers
• No tack stall will be available
• Positive attitudes and good sportsmanship

Mini Kids in the Kitchen Workshop:
Mrs. Sarah Smith, FNP Educator in Oktibbeha County will be conducting mini kids in the kitchen workshop this summer on June 28, 2010. Deadline to register is June 21, 2010. Workshop will be from 9-12 noon for youth aged 8-13. The class is limited to 20 youth. Must have 10 youth sign up to have class. Call 323-5918 to register.

Nutrition Workshop:

Mrs. Sarah Smith, FNP Educator in Oktibbeha County will be conducting a nutrition workshop this summer on July 1, 2010. Deadline to register is June 21, 2010. Workshop will be from 9-12 noon for youth aged 14-18. The class is limited to 20 youth. Must have 10 youth sign up to have class. Call 323-5918 to register.

Junior/Intermediate/Club Records
The deadline for Volunteer/Junior/Intermediate/Club Records to be turned in to the County 4-H office is July 13, 2010. This will give us time to review them and make any needed changes. Remember story and pictures MUST be changed and be current. If you need forms, they are available at the county office.

4-H Advisory Council
The next 4-H Advisory Council will be held on July 14, 2010.
