update on raymond poe

I spoke with mrs. poe at noon. raymond was coming out of surgery. all was looking good. still in a lot of pain. keep them in your prayers.

Raymond Poe

For those who haven't heard yet. Cathleen Poe's husband, Raymond, was hit from behind by an 18 wheeler on highway 82 last night. They have been long time volunteers and supporters of the 4H program here. Their children all have been and are involved in our program (Gabe, Christy, Josh, and Katrica). He was airlifted to Tupelo hospital. He has several injuries. His neck is broken in 2 places. But it is a blessing from God that he is not paralized. His thigh bone is broken. His head is messed up pretty bad and he has some broken fingers. He is in a lot of pain and they are expected to do surgery sometime this morning approximately around 10 or 11. The other person that was on the tractor was Sammie Jones, from Maben. He died at the scene. This was Raymond's cousin. Raymond was in intensive care last night, but he has since moved to a room. Please keep them in your prayers. If you wish to contact her cell # 662-722-2990.

I spoke to Cathleen a little while ago. They are hanging in there. They hope to do surgery this afternoon or tomorrow. They are asking for prayers now. This is a wonderful family. If you would like to make a donation send it to us at our office or to them directly. We will be putting any donation on a gift card to family. Their address is:
